Club Adventist

Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Kountzer just to let you know Easter has nothing to do with Jewish mythology. The problem I have with easter, is not what it commemorates, but when the christian churches celebrate the event. We need to be looking to when the Jews celebrate Passover, because this is the correct time of the crucifixion. On some years they come out at the same time. The christian church moved easter because they did not want to have it at the same time as the Jews were celebrating Passover.

Easter is the subtle-hidden access to glorify Sunday Law. That's the next. If God's people feeling so blessed with easter, why not Sunday Law. Nothing wrong with Sunday Sacredness, right? We just praising God at Sundays....so, is there something wrong with that?

Yep, you hit the nail on the head.

KJV Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and
desperately wicked: who can know it?

When was the resurrection anyway?

Mat. 28:1, "On the later of the sabbaths, at the dawning on the first of the sabbaths ....
Mark 16:2, "Very early on the first of the Sabbaths ..."
Luke 24:1, "And on the first of the Sabbaths ..."
John 20:1, "And on the first of the Sabbaths ..."

Lev. 23:11 "From the day after the [Passover] Sabbath, .... you shall count seven complete Sabbaths"

So the resurrection day was the first Sabbath after Passover.

Daniel

I am not aware of Pagans worshipping Jesus. Why would a pagan celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. I just don't understand.

So ... is that pagan? I think not.

Happy Easter everyone. And it is a beautiful Easter here.

i dont understand the paranoia regarding sunday.

EGW states: Give Sunday to the Lord as a day for doing missionary work. Take students out to hold meetings in different places, and to do medical missionary work. They will find the people at home, and will have a splendid opportunity to present the truth. This way of spending Sunday is always acceptable to the Lord'" (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. IX, 238).

there you go. She says to give sunday to the Lord by doing missionary work and EVEN DO church!

It's not paranoia regarding Sundays. It's about what a particular Sunday is being used to represent. And how. And why. IMHO
